Dear Customer, We wish to inform you, pursuant to Article 7 of the Privacy Law (Italian Law No. 196/2003) that the personal data provided by you and your family in the Guests’ General Information Sheets will be used in compliance with principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency as well as safeguarding your privacy and legal rights. Article 7. Access rights regarding personal information and other rights 1. The party concerned has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such information in an intelligible form. 2. The party concerned has the right to be informed of: a) the source of his personal data; b) the purposes and methods of processing of his personal data; c) the logic applied in processing if carried out with the help of electronic equipment; d) the personal identification of the party concerned, of the controller and of the representative identified according to Article 5, Comma 2; e) of the subjects or the category of subjects to which personal data may be communicated and which may get to know of its existence, in their capacity of representatives in the State’s territory, or of dependents. 1. The party concerned has the right to obtain: a) any updating, rectification or if interested, any integration of data; b) the cancellation, transformation into an anonymous form or the blocking of unlawfully processed data, including those which are not necessary for the purposes for which they have been collected and processed; c) a certification that the operations specified in a) and b) have been notified, including their content, of those to whom the data has been communicated, except when the provision of such information proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected. 1. The party concerned has the right to oppose, to all or a part: a) for legitimate reasons the processing of his personal information, even if pertinent to the purpose of their collection; to the processing of his personal information where it is used for sending advertising material or for direct selling or for carrying out market research or commercial communication surveys. This processing will be carried out with the use of automated systems (without the use of automated systems) for the following purposes: § to satisfy the obligations laid down in Article 109 of the R.D. 18.6.1931 n. 773 which require the registration of all guests and the communication of all personal data to the local security authorities; § to satisfy all fiscal and accounting obligations; § to enable us to receive messages and or telephone calls addressed to you and your family; § to send you periodical documentation regarding updating of our charges and any special offers. We also wish to inform you are compelled to provide all personal information and the refusal to do so will exclude the possibility of your staying in our hotel. You must provide us with your authorisation for any processing carried out for the purposes specified in points 3 and 4, signing below the following declaration: For any further information please contact Mr. Antonino Cacace Pursuant to the Privacy Law (D.L. 196/2003), and having received the information regarding the processing of my personal data and that of my family: I authorise / I do not authorise the hotel to send periodical documentation to my home address regarding the updating of its charges or any special offers; I authorise the hotel to communicate any of my personal data or that of my family, for any purpose other than to enable it to take messages or telephone calls addressed to us.
